Key topics surrounding the inclusion of students with special education needs and English language learners in FSL programs are discussed from a principal’s perspective. This presentation challenges assumptions about who can benefit from FSL programs and provides options for making FSL more inclusive.

This project presents an opportunity to increase awareness and deepen understanding of how the CEFR can inform instruction and assessment practices in FSL in Ontario.
