About this event
Recours à l’harmonisation des travaux des élèves
Session Description: When it comes to questions of racism and identity, Québécois activist, Fabrice Vil tells us that we can change our automatic stereotypes by consciously choosing other thoughts and other words. Learning a language is indeed a powerful tool for inclusion and for opening students’ minds and hearts to the wonderful possibilities that come with diverse ways of living and being. This webinar will explore the many ways that, as French educators, we can integrate resources and activities that will help students to grow in their understanding of equity and inclusion. Participants will leave the session with many examples of free texts – both oral and written – that can be brought into the classroom to support language development and authentic conversations.
Participants will also receive handouts to guide the use of resources.
Suggested Audience: This session will be offered in English to support the inclusion of administrators and other school leaders. Resources shared will be in French.
