Planning Conversations to Support FSL Students

A resource to support educators and various stakeholders working with students with special education needs in FSL programs.

Introduction

Planning Conversations to Support FSL Students builds on the four case studies presented on pages 26-29 of the document "Including Students with Special Education Needs in French as a Second Language Programs". This microsite provides examples of conversations that school teams may have when planning to support students with special education needs in FSL programs.
It is important to note that the strategies suggested in these discussions are possible options. The purpose of this resource is to provide models of conversations and not necessarily an exhaustive list of strategies.

This microsite is organized in sections highlighting three conversations and key elements to support individual student needs. Each section includes video clips and selected video segments from the three conversations representing examples of the identified key element. Also included on the site is a list of resources mentioned in these conversations, which are provided as a starting point for further discussions.
